Air Raids"
were quite frequent during the month of December 1944 and on the morning of
23 December a bomb was dropped in the Officers area of this squadron. Two
Officers were killed and nine others were wounded. Lieutenant Richard
"Mickey" Finn and Harold B. Smith were killed. (Read a report by
