December 1944 after a long and harrowing journey floating on the
open ocean with 3 other crewmembers for 33 Days!
T/Sgt Don Brown (R) helps the sunburned and tired man out of the catalina.
His B-24J was shot down by anti aircraft fire on 01 November 1944.
