Squadron
Navigator Lieutenant Walter H. Boggs during flight school. He died of
"tropical fever" on 29 October 1944 in Hollandia, New Guinea. It was also
called "the crud."
There is nothing about his death in the official history. He was brought
back and buried on 27 June 1948 in the
Romine Prarie Cemetery in Kell, Illinois. |
