Lieutenant Frank Rauschkolb stands in the port blister of a Squadron "Cat" eating "hard tack" with his "Mae West" life vest on.  If you look over his right shoulder, you can see the white tube that was used to dump fuel when they were too heavy to take off after affecting a rescue.
