6 October 1944, Waigeo Island - OA-10A 44-33878 being prepared for flight
back to Middleburg Island after being abandoned on 01 October 1944. She had
just effected the rescue of a P-38 pilot and was beached due to a storm and
high seas. Captain George Barnes is in the water under the wing.
