On
the 25 June 1945, Second Lieutenant Keith W. Parks, pilot of
"Playmate 43", was given the special honor of flying General Sir Thomas
Blamey, Brigadier General J.D. Rogers, Lieutenant Colonel D. Dwyer and party
from Morotai to Brunei Bay, Borneo. The mission was accomplished without
mishap. General Blamey, upon reaching his destination, commended the pilot
and his crew on their efficiency and, appearance and neatness of their ship.
