OA-10A 44-33954 as she sits today at Anchorage, Alaska. She originally crash-landed at
Dago Lake on 30 September 1947 after her starboard engine threw a rod. Efforts to salvage
her over the years were unsuccessful due to her location and the elements. She was finally
brought to her present location via a CH-54 "Skycrane" helicopter on 30
September 1987. She is slowly being restored by the Alaskan Historical Aircraft Society,
and is now sitting atop her own landing gear once again!
