Staff Sergeant Robert E. Roult, (1917 - ), was born in Jamestown, Indiana on March 21, 1917 to Fred and Helen Roult. After graduating from Jamestown High School in 1935, he attended Indiana University where he got his Bachelor's degree in Business in 1940. (He completed his Master's Degree in Education in 1953)

Staff Sergeant Roult entered the service in December 1942 and joined the Second Emergency Rescue Squadron in February 1944. He performed duties including payroll clerk while assigned to the Second Emergency.

After being separated from the service on December 21, 1945 he joined the Reserve and was a teacher for many years after the war.
