       BATTLE PARTICIPATION CREDIT - SOUTHERN PHILIPPINES CAMPAIGN

     1. Puruant to AR 260-10, 25 October 1944, and General Order No. 33, War Department, 1945, the following Air Force units are entitled to battle honors for participation in the Southern Philippines Campaign:

 13th Emergency Rescue Group

     2. The awarding of battle honors in paragraph 1 above, does not itself entitle members of units listed therein to wear the Bronze Service Star on the Asiatic-Pacific Theater ribbon. Unit commanders will cause the necessary entries to be made in the personnel records of the members of their organization who are eligible to wear the Bronze-Service Star under provisions of War Department Circular No. 62, 1944, as ammendment by War Department Circular No. 195, 1944, No. 90 1945 and No.142, 1945.
