Two oddities
are associated with US&S pistols. They were not stamped with a "crossed
cannon" Ordnance inspection mark, even though this procedure was
standardized in October 1942. They were not stamped with a "P" proof mark on
either the receiver or slide until roughly serial number 106000. |
