A very interesting photo of a beached Second Emergency Rescue Squadron
OA-10A "Catalina" 44-34077 that sustained damage after being struck by a Navy ship
that was towing it toward shore. The aircraft landed in heavy seas off the
coast of Balikpapan, Borneo trying to deliver much needed blood products. The rudder and the left side of the elevator are heavily damaged.
