08 JANUARY 1945
First Lieutenant Larry E. Bormann, pilot of "Playmate Four One", departed Morotai at 0430 for Dipolog, Mindanao where he landed at 0950 and discharged three passengers and picked up two evacuees who had been in the Philippines since 1941. Lieutenant Bormann reached Sojotn Point at 1125 and made contact with his cover. He then proceeded to stand by during the strike. At 1200 he departed the orbit point and searched along the coast of Negros and Mindanao returning to his base at 1330.
