MISSION REPORT - EVAC - 16

14 APRIL 1945
First Lieutenant Earl Hutchings, pilot of "Playmate Four Seven", departed Zamboanga [map] at 1030 for the purpose of evacuating 16 wounded soldiers from the beach at Jolo Jolo Island. The transfer of patients from the beach to the rescue ship was effected without mishap and all personnel were returned to Zamboanga and transferred to the station hospital.
